Master W.K. Baek was born in South Korea and immigrated to Canada in 1985 when he made Chilliwack his second home.
Master W.K. Baek has been teaching, demonstrating and instructing students in the art of Taekwondo since he was a teenager.
He has won many individual honours & championships, notably winning top individual honours in the South Korean Military Championships, as well as being the former undefeated Middleweight and Welterweight Champion.
Although 7th degree black belt is a level attained by very few, Master W.K. Baek still strives for constant improvement in himself and his students. He seeks to make Taekwondo a priceless investment in life for everyone.
Many of Master W.K. Baek’s previous students have said that “He is one of the greatest teachers and motivators [they] have ever met”.
